Robin’s goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for you to unpack and explore your feelings, thoughts, and memories. She has a warm yet direct approach. Whatever you’re processing, Robin offers a grounding, judgment-free presence.
With a special interest in helping clients develop self-awareness and positive self-regard, Robin utilizes several empirically based modalities in her work. Her practice is informed by cognitive, narrative, ecological, humanistic, and motivational interviewing approaches, providing a well-balanced path to healing. You’ll gain practical coping skills and insight.
Support for Life Transitions and Beyond
She works with a wide array of issues, including but not limited to life transitions such as becoming a parent, entering college or a first career, end-of-life concerns, divorce, retirement, and chronic illness. Her substance use support includes harm reduction and/or sobriety. Self-esteem, self-discovery, and body positivity inform her practice. She also helps clients with mental health diagnoses manage their symptoms.
Background in Social Work
Robin brings +30 years of experience, especially in crisis services and the clinical community setting. During that time, she worked with many clients struggling with issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, suicidality, and addiction.
